In addition to her consulting focus, Dr. Kim leads the learning endeavors for a major healthcare system, served as the first female African American Multifamily HUB Director with Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Recently, Dr. Kim was recognized as a 2021 Resilient Leader by the national Women for Economic Leadership & Development organization, and she won the 2020 Irving Strayer Award, highest staff award designation. Previously, she held positions of a Regional Onsite Dean, the State of Ohio's Housing Director, Limited Brands Corporation Trainer, large non- profit Affiliate President, and financial institution Operations Director.
Dr. Kim holds a Ph.D. in Organization and Management (leadership specialization), two Master’s Degrees in Digital Entrepreneurship and Business Administration, Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, and numerous certifications (i.e., Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, DISC, MBTI, Economic Development, Housing Finance, Mediation, Strength Finder Instructor, Enneagram Coach, etc.).

Dr. Kouns-Lewis the Founder and CEO of The Joy of Coaching and specializes in career and executive coaching, wellness, and human resources management programs. She is an international conference keynote speaker in Human Resources and Diversity as Dr. Kouns-Lewis is a highly sought Human Resources Executive, that has worked in both the public and private sectors. She currently serves as the Vice President of Human Resources and Risk Management for a Columbus, Ohio based agency and chairs the Ohio Asian Awards. Additionally, she is the Vice President and Board Member of the Asian American Commerce Group. Dr. Kouns-Lewis held previous human resources roles with the American Red Cross, The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission, and was an HR Consultant for Nationwide Insurance in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Kouns-Lewis earned her doctorate degree in Organization and Management, with a specialization in Human Resources Management, from Capella University. She has a lifetime certification as Senior Human Resources Professional (SPHR), is a Registered Corporate Coach, and is SHRM Senior Competent Professional Certified. She was Vice President of Membership for the Human Resources Association of Central Ohio, Chairperson of Career Fair for the Asian Festival, and Board Member of the Ballantrae Association in Dublin, Ohio. Dr. Killens is a Certified Agile Scrum Master with over 12 years in secondary and post-secondary education and 25 years in technology and training. Her skills and experience include instructional design, technology integration and planning, course and curriculum design, courses and program evaluation, teaching technologies, and technology training and support. Dr. Killens provides training and adept consultation on the use of technologies for educational use in a variety of settings such as face-to-face, blended, and online. Dr. Killens established and hosted an Annual Entrepreneurship Conference, which she moved to a digital platform the second year. She also created and facilitated an African American Women’s Leadership Conference.
Dr. Killens is the founder of the She Sucseeds Network for Women in Entrepreneurial Ministry, creator and host of TLK life podcast, focusing on telling the stories of African American women, and has been an Advocate for Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault for 10 years. Further, she devoted 16 years in ministry serving in various Christian Education roles and facilitated the establishment of Couples and Young Adult ministries. Magic Confidence 901 supplies toothpaste, deodorant, soap, face cloths, socks, feminine and male products, underclothes, body wash, shaving cream, cotton balls, hair items and makeup to under-served communities in Memphis, Tennessee.
Takeitha holds an Associate of Arts degree in Psychology from Pikes Peak Community College; a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology from the University of Denver; and a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Strayer University. She is currently a doctoral student at Capella University studying Non-Profit Organizational Leadership.
